Sad... this is the end...
Btw, why don’t they change the website into eurowings.be now ?

OO-SNN just landed in Brussels Airport, coming in from EMA. Has someone been able to spot her?

No comment... they could have least have retained the belgianwings brand as kind of compromise... to keep a belgian identity within the -wings concept...

they don't know what to do with the Belgian brand, that's why it's in EW colors + it's one from LH, no leasing done by SN so sadly LH can decide whatever they want to put on the outside which sadly favors their own low fare branding

Lufthansa has already explained why: when you offer flights between Sarajevo and Malaga, it's commercially better to this with an aircraft with Eurowings colours, rather than in Brussels Airlines outfit. Expansion of Eurowings indeed, also to the benefit of nv/sa Brussels Airlines.

Three days later, still waiting for the first commercial flight. Curious to know the first "Eurowings" destination of that aircraft? Some hot sunny Mediterranean leisure spot?

I may have missed something here, since I don't know what flights between Malaga and Sarajevo you're talking about Passenger, but I have to agree with you: having a fleet branded in the same livery does allow the different airlines to rotate between the different destinations more easily on a daily basis.
As far as I know, until today, all brussels airlines planes flying to somewhere in the morning always come back to brussels around noon: that may not be the best use of a plane in fact and there might be more money to be made to have this plane fly up and down to somewhere else first, before heading back to brussels in the evening only, but for that you'd need something generic on the plane to make it possible.
Is that what you're talking about? Or did I indeed mis an announcement?

will be operational around 15/06 ... depending on the phase in as it's not ready yet to enter the fleet

OO-SFL was in Dublin since 18 May, coming from Frankfurt (ex Lufthansa D-AIKC). Today it left to ... Bergen-op-Zoom (WOE) as SN9902.

If you could be true... however, this plane is not gonna be an exception, as the whole medium haul SN fleet will be rebranded under EW generic c/s.

All future planes will be painted in Eurowings colors.. and this to be more flexible for the group, if they need more planes during winter in Germany Belgians can go fly there and if Belgium needs more planes during summer planes can be send to Belgium operated by Germans .. and this all to make it less complicated for the passenger

Why would a different livery be less complicated for the passenger and more flexible??
As explained many times before, passengers don’t care about the colour of their aircraft.

the aim of LH is to have only LH/EW/LH/OS/LX and eliminate SN on short haul

Is this one going to Düsseldorf or Brussels?
