Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
I just noticed that someone added some additional information to the Maibor Edvard Rusjan Airport Wikipedia page. There is now written that VLM Airlines is going to fly from Maribor (MBX) to Belgrade (BEG). According to that information the route is set to commence on 9. October 2018. Can somebody confirm this information? I found no information about the route elsewhere.
Thank you in advance.

Again a CEO change. How many CEOs has this company known since its resurrection?
And then a new director, from Slovenia. That means that Maribor remains in the picture!

Anja Poštrak used to be near to SHS already before. I am afraid however that she does not have much experience with aviation... never heared of her... only article she was mentioned in (also already 2 months old):

Re: VLM (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
Just to clarify:
- "VLM" (based in Antwerp) is the trading name of SHS Aviation Antwerp, a subsidiary of Dutch holding company SHS Aviation B.V., itself owned for 60% by Dutch investors and for 40% by Chinese investors
- "VLM Airlines" (based in Brussels, formerly "Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium") is a subsidiary of Dutch holding company SF Aviation Management B.V., itself a daughter of SoftFlight B.V.
Confusing? Yes, I know. Hopefully one of them will change names...

The VLM Fokker 50 is going through the watersalute in that shot, but you need a very good eye to spot the little Fokker in all that water.pitrixplanespotting wrote: ↑22 Jun 2018, 18:54Euhm, some of the clips are from a Jetluchtzak wrote: ↑22 Jun 2018, 18:29And the official aftermovie:sn26567 wrote: ↑04 Jun 2018, 15:54 Today inauguration of the flights from Antwerp to Aberdeen, and to Rostock via Cologne/Bonn: https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/vlm-a ... d-rostock/

Seems like there is a serious money-laundry going on in Maribor regarding SHS - Aviation, Maribor Airport and VLM Airlines. Time will tell...

Welcome to Aviation24.be, Mr Frost!
Interesting news: Amapola Flyg is a Swedish all-F50 airline. It operates 13 F50 freighters (a.o. for the Swedish Post) and 3 F50 passenger aircraft, one of which was leased to Sparrow Airlines which just went bankrupt and returned its sole F50 to Amapola.
And if VLM has no Fokker-50s anymore, how will it fly?
