I have no info about that. I guess if they are not due for repainting they will wait for that.

Are these 2 planes also In Eurowings colours or all white?

Whatever their current look is, together with those 2 leased (and equally unpainted) regional jets it will mean more than 15% of their own fleet does not feature their own name even this summer?

I understand their desire not to waste much money on full repaints and to plan them when it is due technically, but investing some cash on brand awareness amongst cumstomers and airport users might be a good idea: is it very complicated to have a sticker with just name and logo on a fuselage/tail, even if it is applied on top of another painting like Eurowings?

Actually if those 2 airplanes comes in EW livery, it will be 9 aircraft out of 45 without Brussels Airlines on it. So 10%

SSY and SNC in Star Alliance
2 CRJ-900 in white
SFJ, SFB and SNN in EW
SNP and SNQ we'll see

Yeah, and by the way, why won't they take a temporary measure and just apply SN titles on EW-painted aircrafts? It doesn't cost much and even many more smaller airlines do it.

I guess it would be just a partial repaint of the tail? It was freshly repainted at EW not long ago.

OS will get ten new 787s by 2028 (still five year from now, but anyway..).
Nothing really meaningful from LH Group for SN ?
Or have I missed something ?
Would SN not be able to offer a profitable flight to BOS ?
And a variation on this could perhaps be to fly an A330 to BOS in summer and to MIA in winter, and an A321LR to BOS in winter.
I am afraid that the A321XLR will not have the necessary range to fly to MIA in summer when demand is lower to this destination.
Just some feed for thought and looking forward to reactions.

SN got it's new renewal wave 2018-19 with the all 333 fleet. As all aircraft are leased for typically 10-12 years, an educated guess would be a new wave around 2030. Until than maybe incremental allocation of 1additional 1-2 333 within the group.

The next block for this decade is the all 320 size short haul fleet thus i would rather expect gradually additionaly around 10x320 Neos and some punctual fleet increases via transfer of group CEOs.

Lufthansa Group always said that the best performing airlines get the newest aircraft. I guess that the group sees more opportunities at OS hence the renewal of aircraft.

This statement was related to expansion. Growth there where you get the highest return.

In this case we speak about replacement of aircraft which is in average 8 years older than SN's current 333 fleet.

May I just add there that 5 of the B787's OS are getting are not new? They will be 2nd hand from LH

Meanwhile, OO-SNP is flying back to BRU from Nottingham, presumably with the new livery.
