I know there are some production problems @Airbus at the moment regarding the A320 . maybe related to that ?

When will the Canadairs arrive for SN's regional flights...with or without livery?

End of the month, just before the beginning of S23. The contract is initially for the summer, so I don’t expect any SN livery on them, but who knows…

Not exactly "renewal" but still fleet related:

OO-SFG returned from AMM yesterday, now flying to KGL as SN465. OO-SNE just landed AMM, presumably for check. Numbers SN9902/01 used for both positioning flights.

Will the new a320’s (oo-snp / oo-snq) be repainted in the new livery? Or will they just fly the summer season in the Eurowings livery?

Due to a delay in the production chain at Airbus factory, the 1st a320neo is expected in August, 2nd and 3rd in december.

It will not change anything for the summer production as there will be some phase out which will be comes at a later stage.

Welcome to Aviation24.be, williammoens.

Good question: Brussels Airlines has shown that it is not ashamed to fly aircraft in Eurowings livery. Hence I think that, as long as the paint doesn't need to be refreshed, the aircraft will keep their EW liveries and only the registration (and the associated flag) will be changed. But this is only my opinion.

Could we imagine receiving Airbus A330s that LH/OS or LX would downgrade since SN is not affected by new LH purchases ?

I would not be surprise that a330's of Swiss and Lufthansa goes progressively to Brussels and Eurowings.

An interesting point is that Lufthansa doesn't seems interested in the a330neo and stick to a350 and 787. Long term future for SN?

I would not pin myself to August to be honest. I have heard things from Airbus that the supply chain is heavily disrupted. (vague, I know, but I cannot say more)

I would rather expect SN to get additional 333 ex Singapore Airlines as there are some available on the market, rather than from other group companies.
Timelines are pretty tight and squeezed due to delivery delays for new aircraft.

2023 was supposed to see 5 A359 deliveries to LH and it would be 1 only. As there is a lot of 10 aircraft with First to come to MUC (initial pace each 5 per year 2023-24), we can expect this batch to be delivered until approx Mid-End 2025.
Swiss shall get its first 359 afterwards starting 2025 so if the rhytm is kept the roll over of the 343 and 5 not to be upgraded 333 would be likely earliest mid 2026-27.

The LH rollover from 343 and 333 to 789 makes sense for FRA, however here there are some small issues to be considered as well. The frist 5 789 with Ge engines should have been delivered last year and the coming 20 in 2023-25. Let's see if Boeing can keep the pace. There is a pressure on replacing the 343 first and it was initially announced that once LH is getting enough 789 the first 5 789 with GE engines might go to another group ariline (OS might be the educated guess here). Thus we might have to see 20+ 789s with RR engines in FRA first.

Than looking towards Eurowings there are 3x A332 to be replaced with 333. So here there might be a prioritized move as well and we might speak here realistically about 2025-26? And there another issue is starting: the ageing of the current EW fleet. The ex LH aircraft are from 2004 and 2005 and one can expect them to leave the fleet around 2028-2030. This all not considering additional growth for Discover as well.

So if SN might have the opportunity to add aditional aicraft 2024 or 2025 to serve eg leisure routes etc. than i would suppose this to happen with leased 3rd party ones.
