Ryanair has announced it will launch a new route from Bournemouth to Malta in summer 2022 on 29 April.
Ryanair has complained to the European Commission about legislation which could cut back on flights to and from Warsaw from 01 May 2022(*), because it believes that the list of prioritised destinations unfairly favours LOT Polish Airlines.

Ryanair is in talks with the Canary Islands to reopen the bases on four islands of the archipelago, and is also evaluating the Menorca base and with interest in Spanish regions, such as Cantabria or Galicia.

Ryanair announced its biggest ever UK winter 2022/23 schedule with 13 new routes to exciting destinations such as Barcelona and Turin. This brings Ryanair’s total winter routes to/from the UK to 449.

Ryanair called on the Hungarian government to scrap what it called a “misguided” new tax levied on departing passengers as part of efforts to rein in a rise in the budget deficit. This tax of between €10-25 per departing passenger from 01 July 2022, will irreparably damage Hungarian tourism, connectivity, traffic and jobs.

Ryanair Group chief executive Michael O’Leary said that bookings at the airline are strengthening and he expects summer fares to be between 7% and 9% higher than pre-pandemic levels.

Ryanair announced its biggest ever Birmingham winter 2022/23 schedule, with an additional based aircraft — a B737-8200 — and five new routes to destinations such as Billund, Grenoble, Santander, Stockholm, and Toulouse.

Ryanair announced its comeback to Belfast International Airport with a summer schedule following the reopening of its base from summer 2023. Ryanair will start with 12 routes from Belfast International, operating over 115 weekly flights.

This is nothing new. Each year he is launching something like this. This is just to receive the needed discounts. On the other side it would not be bad if they could leave. Bring in again more quality, good service via the airlines. Bring back Vueling with more flights bcs they cancelled more flights bcs of Ryanair. And it would be also a very good deal for SN
