Good evening everyone ! I noticed that this flight went to Johannesburg but in 787 tui. Does it happen to replace the SAA flight scheduled a few days ago or is it pure coincidence ?

Samuel,
I asked TUIfly: they answered that the TUIfly flight to JNB (JAF9300 or X3 9300 with OO-LOE) was indeed for vaccines. TUI will send a press release about it later.
SAA is bankrupt, pilots are not paid. Organising an SAA flight is probably near to impossible, hence the SA Government has probably decided to rely on another source.

South African Airways doesn't pay their staff anymore, but SAA hasn't been declared bankrupt yet: they have legal status "Business Rescue" now.sn26567 wrote: ↑17 Feb 2021, 14:58Samuel Zerilli wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021, 21:20 Good evening everyone ! Background of their failure to operate a vaccine flight JNB-BRU-JNB:
