Re: Contrail spotting April 2020
Many nice contrail pictures of the An-225 Mriya UR-82060 have appeared on social media recently, as the aircraft has been carrying medical supplies to Poland (Warsaw) and France (Vatry).

Re: Contrail spotting April 2020
Hi,
It's my first post so if it's misplaced, please point me in the right direction.
Yesterday April 20th, between 21:38 and 21:45, I saw no less than 30 planes (number isn't precise as i ran upstairs and might have missed something) crossing the Brussels sky at high altitude (very very faint engine noise), going SW to NE, probably passing Brussels a few km on the south. They were pretty fast, as far as I can tell since it was nighttime and I'm not a seasoned plane spotter.
I became curious because they were all following the same route, at 15 to 30 second of interval, with consistent speed with one another, and when I checked on flightradar nothing was registered. These days there isn't much traffic, and suddenly 30 planes cross the sky ? Anyone has any idea what it could be ?
Many thanks.

You most probably saw the Starlink satellites, which have been clearly visible in Belgian skies on many of the recent evenings:

It's great that you people still can see some aircraft above you! But it looks like being cargo only
