LOT will lease a 3rd Airbus A343 to Air Belgium from end December (787 grounding)

4 Airbus A320 of Avion Express are to be leased, 2 in January and 2 in February.

LOT takes legal action due to a case on Lufthansa logo, too much similar to LOT.

The Lufthansa crane logo was created decades before the LOT one. The case is lost in advance!

Or at least on the livery, between the LOT logo on their "new" livery and LH logo on Lufthansa Blue livery...

LOT gets permit to fly to Canada with aircraft operated by Air Belgium throughout 2020 :
https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/air- ... hout-2020/

The most surprising is that everyone thinks that the leasing is only to Canada but they have flown to NYC as well since February 2019, and it should not stop soon, LOT registered 2 A343 just to be sure that they can use both OOABD and OOABE (ABA & ABB, if they are used, are going to fly on other routes).

LOT announces new flights between Warsaw and Washington D.C.

Second US destination launch for 2020, together with San Francisco.

Strong rumours on future use of Boeing 777-200(ER?), ex Singapore Airlines, for 5 years, however LOT denies : "media speculation" they say.

It is due to problems and groundings of LOT 787 RR engines, for more than a year.

And an A321, LY-VEH.

But I agree with Atlantis comment, another interesting growth in Eastern Europe would be UIA.

Personally I'm so happy to see my national airline to be active like that.

About LOT finances, they came a bit closer to TAROM and Croatia Airlines as well...
