Does this mean that integration is pushed, without necessarily achieving pure absorption? Thx...sn26567 wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 12:30In short: Brussels Airlines keeps its own sales team in Berlin. Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
The article says clearly that the integration will proceed further in 2019, but the present decision shows also that Brussels Airlines keeps some sort of freedom of action.nordikcam wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 12:52Does this mean that integration is pushed, without necessarily achieving pure absorption? Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
My feeling is Lufthansa understands B.air's African routes are a completely different market than anything eurowings (or in fact Lufthansa proper) covers, hence it needs to be covered with a different product and that can only be done via a different subbrand .
1 company, active under different brands depending the market: nothing shocking, happens all the time, in all sectors of our economy.
Exactly as predicted.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
Just wondering if any of you guys know why I cant book Brussels-Johannesburg anymore on Brusselsairlines.com .
Okay, these are code share flights from Frankfurt (SN7206 with LH 572) but buying the tickets from brusselsairlines was generally ( a lot ) cheaper than buying it from LH.com directly. I did this many times since the economy tickets were usually economy-K tickets ( cheapest bunch )
Did they end the code share for this route ?

Try again... I make a simulation and it seems fully operational
Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
Brussels Airlines one of the most polluting airlines worldwide...

Maybe the "new" aircraft will change their ranking a bit...

Lufthansa AG / Eurowings Group don't even mind of Brussels Airlines, seems for me too much logical...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
I just wonder which figures they use, if they took them from 2012 for example, they were still flying avros half empty. But things are going the good direction, so I fail to understand their calculations... It would seem less logical, but Swiss have less seats in their 330s and are flying further away, aren't they more polluting than the shorter flights of SN?

Sooooo predictable: "don't even mind..."TLspotting wrote: ↑10 Dec 2018, 16:55Lufthansa AG / Eurowings Group don't even mind of Brussels Airlines, seems for me too much logical...Sai wrote: ↑10 Dec 2018, 16:52 Brussels Airlines one of the most polluting airlines worldwide...

That’s we Swiss are behind SN...shockcooling wrote: ↑10 Dec 2018, 17:35 I fail to understand their calculations... It would seem less logical, but Swiss have less seats in their 330s and are flying further away, aren't they more polluting than the shorter flights of SN?
On a side note, surprisingly or maybe unsurprisingly, there is no mention of the article on the homepage of this site.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
I am surprised nobody noticed the engine flame-out on the A330, after restarting the engine, the second engine failed during approach BRU. Suspecting fuel contamination in Kinshasa Airport.
IMO this could have gone a lot worse!

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
Seems SN is saving on potable water at its flagship lounge in brussels!
Bottled water no where to be found, replaced by flavoured tap water in large glass jars!
First the small bottled waters were replaced by large ones, clearly to cut costs. Now bottled water is gone alltogether!
That is very cheap, I find. Many people do not drink tap water at home or at a restaurant..why should they at a premium lounge?

You're saying "nobody noticed" while giving yourself a link to an article on this site's home page!?b.lufthansa wrote: ↑15 Dec 2018, 02:17 I am surprised nobody noticed the engine flame-out on the A330, after restarting the engine, the second engine failed during approach BRU. Anyway, if the fuel contamination is confirmed, it should be cause for big concern!
Btw, the incident was reported in the "Anomalies..." topic as well.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2018
Actually this is very standard in Estonia
You *always* get water with berries, fruits, even flowers-petals
I don't find this cheap at all
(and way better than all the plastic crap all the time)
