Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
... which is not too bad for a new service. Some here seem to be obsessed with load factors, but for a niche operator like this they are less relevant.
Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
With the other extremely low load factors that Mariborchanka has shared with us (thank you), it doesn't look good for them.pitrixplanespotting wrote: ↑07 Apr 2018, 21:33 Yesterday the flight to Birmingham departed with 10-15 pax...
Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
Since the start-up of Vizionair I want to fly their special livery fokker 50. Due to the kind of operations they do, it is very hard to get on one of their own flights. Living in Antwerp, I see OO-VLN very often, the dedicated plane flying over my house operated for VLM-VO. Is someone on this site familiar with a person who does planning operations for VLM so I can have more chance of flying on that plane in VIZION colours (oo-vln) while booking a regular VLM-VO flight? Many many many thanks.

Hi SLM try to contact Emy, our flight designer, at [email protected], she might give you some opportunity to fly the OOVLN

VLM will serve the Manchester-Antwerp and Manchester-Ostend/Bruges routes from 1st October 2018. It is the first time that Manchester will have a direct flight to Ostend-Bruges, offering passengers easy access to the stunning, medieval city of Bruges. The airline will operate the Ostend-Bruges service once a day. Additionally, VLM will serve Antwerp twice daily Monday to Friday, with daily flights over the weekend.

For me it's an error to start the OST MAN
they could better focus on an inbound morning flight to ANR

You are absolutely right... they need morning and night from both ANR and MAN... and they should also focus on ANR rather than have 1 flight a day in the middle of the day in OST...
Each airplane should fly to a business destination in the morning and evening (LON, MAN, MUC etc...) and then in the middle of the day to a vacation destination or a destination they only want to fly to once a day or 2-3x a week.... (PMI, NCE, JER, VCE etc...)
If they do that they can sort of create a mini hub in Antwerp connecting pax from all the business cities to these other cities.... like a LCY-ANR-NCE for example... with the size of the airport in Antwerp, making a connection is a piece of cake..
Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
Anyone knows how they’re are doing on the MUC and ZRh routes?
Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
But Ost-man??? I really dont see a market for that!
Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
How can they manage all these new destinations with only four aircraft operational. Will the fleet be extended soon ?

I guess a fifth F-50 (OO-VLZ) should become operational any of the coming weeks... no?by Konus » 26 Apr 2018, 08:42

Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
Fortuna Dusseldorf has beaten Dynamo Dresden (1-2) on Saturday noon and that victory guarantuees them place 1 or 2 in the German 2nd Division (Zweite Liga). Thus next year: Bundesliga for Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Hi!
Does someone know how MBX-MUC route is preforming after reduction to only 2 weekly flights? Mariborchanka? You used to have some numbers?

That is extremely bad. Thank you for your information. VLM is completely unknown in Slovenia and I am sure that at least 90% of the people have no idea that they can fly from MBX at all.
Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
That would mean 5-6 passengers per flight, no? Do you know how many of these are travelling between MBX and MUC and between MBX and ANR?by Haplek » 11 May 2018, 17:00

Load factor it's still around 11%

I had the impression there are more passengers than 5-6 per flight and more MBX-passengers from/to Antwerp than from/to Munich.
What is the MBX-airport doing to promote these flights and their airport besides the info on the MBX-website?
Are travelangents in Maribor-region/Slovenia in the picture? and do they 'promote' this routing or are they sending their airtravel clients for MUC and Belgium to LJU,ZAG or Austria?
Re: VLM Airlines Regional (SHS Antwerp Aviation) news 2018
I do not know how many passengers fly vetween MBX and ANR. However I know that MBX Airport does hardly something to promote those flights. Sometimes they post or repist VLM's posts on Facebook. And thats all. Sadly.FLYAIR10 wrote: ↑12 May 2018, 12:40That would mean 5-6 passengers per flight, no?
