Re: BRU Summer 2020: news, new routes, airlines
3 brands all right, but isn't Air Transat part of Air Canada too now? In that case, it's pretty much irrelevant who you'd fly with as these flights all fall unter the A++ joint venture, sharing all costs and revenues as if they were one single airlines? or is Air Transat's purchase not completed ye...

Re: Boeing 777(X) news
Saw it live and saw it afterwards a few times again, nice aircraft btw. But it has a strange take off position, probably it has something to do with length and avoiding a tailstrike. When you look close, the rightmaingear (first row of wheels) is already of the ground and then the nosegear. Just lo...

The past days, I've seen Iberia coming to Brussels with A330 and A340-600 aircraft. Is this for a charter, or are they coming to brussels with these larger aircraft regularly?

This month we can see also a very nice upgrade of Etihad. They will fly with their brand new B787-10 to BRU. BRU is the first destination they will fly with it. The livery on it is also great. Indeed, the 'Greenliner' (reg: A6-BMH), the livery is simply stunning! One of the most beautiful aircraft ...

Yesterday FR24 showed a flight from SN from DUB to GVA. Are these charter flights for a Swiss or an Irish Tour operator? Brussels Airlines is operating LX410/LX411 between BRU-GVA-BRU on behalf of Swiss. It was a DUB-GVA flight. A little research on FR24 shows that it was OO-SSS operating LX410/LX4...

D4-CCG, a B757 of Cabo Verde Airlines flying from Espargos (SID) to Washington (IAD) diverted to Santa Maria (SMA) in the Azores.

Edit: The aircraft is again on its way to Washington, so it was probably a medical diversion.
