Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017

Anybody doubting the global appeal of tomorrowland should check out "people of tomorrow", a VRT docu that can also be watched on Netflix. From Sri Lanka to Kenya, fans of EDM are longing to head to Belgium for Tomorrowland. It's not my kind of music, but there's no denying millions upon mi...

What happened to OO-SSC? It got repainted in regular colours?
Apologies, you're right. I hadn't seen OO-SSC in a while, thought it had been repainted!

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2017

Anybody else noticed that SN isn't having a star alliance livery at the moment? As there has been no announcement whatsoever about a new Belgian Icons livery, I get the idea this the new livery could be a star alliance one. It would also be a nice confirmation that at least for now they're remaining...

Re: Brussels Airlines want to make a new transit platform in Dakar

I wasn't aware Senegal was building a new airport. The present DKR can indeed feel a bit cramped at times. The new airport is quite far from Dakar, according to google maps it's easily a 1 hour drive from the city centre. I'll miss the easy connection there is now. Although the last time I was there...

Re: Experiences on Turkish Airlines long haul?

Even though Turkey is not a part of the EU, in their efforts to become a member they've adapted a lot of EU laws, including EC261/04. I have been refunded for a heavily delayed flight before. Also the rebooking options should be the same as for EU carriers. But I don't know how snow would be treated...

Re: Transferring at AMS - any tips?

How are you transferring? In some cases you'll have to go through security. But there are shops on both sides of security, and in any case the seal bag you get will allow you to bring your booze through security. Amsterdam is a very nice airport, but it can get very crowded and the layout may be a b...
