I wasn't aware Senegal was building a new airport. The present DKR can indeed feel a bit cramped at times. The new airport is quite far from Dakar, according to google maps it's easily a 1 hour drive from the city centre. I'll miss the easy connection there is now. Although the last time I was there...

Even though Turkey is not a part of the EU, in their efforts to become a member they've adapted a lot of EU laws, including EC261/04. I have been refunded for a heavily delayed flight before.
