Re: Brussels Airlines Summer 2016 speculation.

Despite all the constructive planning options possible, do not think we will soon see a flight / turnaround of more than 24hours in the schedule. All destinations they are looking at for the next years will be in that range: it has to be possible to fly them within 24 hours, including ground times, ...

Re: Brucargo 2015: Cargo routes, news, Brucargo West, Diabolo

Will be nice to see this aircraft again, long time ago... Soon they will use other equipment, which they are already looking for, as they are also not stupid and they know this aircraft is not a long term solution. Seems first respons from agents is more than encouraging, so fingers crossed !

No question they are flying to BRU, but are they having a base at the airport ? Do not believe they are basing aircraft in BRU at the moment. But could be wrong.

Re: FedEx buys TNT

Perhaps it is not a gift to TNT, but if more capacity and better setup in LGG, why not move the smaller FedEx operation from CGN to the bigger TNT operation in LGG where it also gives a nice fit with the existing European (both road and air) network ? Do agree that keeping CDG, CGN and LGG in the lo...

Re: FedEx buys TNT

Think the airline will fly to any destination FedEx asks them, whatever the capital or owner. If FedEx / TNT choose LGG as second hub, the airline will operate from LGG. If it is CGN, they will be happy to fly for them ex CGN. So airline ownership will not have an influence on the decission taken by...

Re: Traffic Right

Do not think you will find one overview at one specific place, only internal at civil aviation and probably Brussels Airlines (and other Belgian carriars). You will need to look at every single bilateral agreement in place with all countries having signed such an agreement with Belgium. Can asure yo...

Re: BRU traffic figures 2015

Since it's DHL operating the flights, the cargo of AY is counted with integrator and not full freighter. Reason is that statistics are not based on manifest holder. Same goes for all the other general cargo loaded on integrator flights.

Re: BRU Summer 2015: latest news, routes, airlines

Is indeed about the bilateral agreement between Belgium and UAE. With Emirates starting the flights to BRU, the bilateral does not foresee other more flights. So bilateral needs an update or civil aviation Belgium needs to allow these flights outside the bilateral. Consider these statements pre lobb...

Re: BRU 07/09/2014

The B77W will come to BRU beginning next year. The L is only temporarely, due to aircraft availibility. Wil be good for cargo. Up to 30 tons each flight. A380 will never come as BRU can not have them and are not category Evairport, with exception for 747-8F. Visit of LH380 came with special procedur...
