Re: BRU 27/06/2014
At the general aviation I saw a beautiful aircraft yesterday, 100% sure it's because of the Euro top, there's a lion on the tail of the plane, the plane itself is grey with stripes of the dutch/luxembourg/French? flag. Anyone know what country this beautiful aircraft belongs to?

Re: Which future fighter jet for Belgian Defence?
I'd love to see Gripen's instead of F-18 or F-35. Canada has the same problem. A very interesting blog about this topic:
http://gripen4canada.blogspot.be/p/what ... ornet.html
Seems that in operational cost the Gripen is way cheaper than the other candidates (F-18/F35/Eurofighter/Rafale)

Re: Ryanair at Brussels Airport
Depends on who their target is i think. They state business routes, but i think business people only care about the timing of the routes. Younger people going on holiday don't care about the flying times (I'm one of them-slept in airports before), but that would mean less passengers for Charleroi if...

Re: Ryanair at Brussels Airport
Stij, I have flown 4 FR flights just yesterday, and, believe me, the FR passengers behave like any other passengers at any airport. There are some who know their way about, and some first-timers, like everywhere. And there was no rush "everybody for himself" to get a seat. If you want to ...

On which routes are the dash8's used? My father, a regular traveller, has never had them with Brussels.

Re: Gliding at Ursel?
No, because there they use a winch to launch the gliders, I saw a taildragger towing the glider, which disconnected around circuit hight.

Gliding at Ursel?
Hi all, Today I was at a bbq with a friend, very close to the airfield of Ursel. I know the airfield can be used by the 2 clubs, but during the whole afternoon (from around 13hrs local to around 18hrs local) I saw constantly a glider going to around 300m (circuit hight). I thought gliding was not al...
