Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
I am now told that the Air Nostrum CRJ aircraft are indeed leased to terminate the agreement with CityJet (the two companies have merged), which runs until March. After that, the decision is still pending, with Air Nostrum the front runner. Adria is a possible candidate too. And Adria just ordered ...

CityJet replacing bmi on SN services?
On another site, there is discussion of CityJet apparently replacing bmi on SN regional routes, beginning in the spring and using R85s. eg on the SN reservation system, BRU-Bristol shows as operated by bmi ERJ 145 (with a SN4xxx number) up to end of March, and then as operated by "AR8" fro...

Re: The CityJet Sukhoi SSJ100-95 saga is hurting Brussels Airlines
Has the situation with the SSJs improved? Looking at about a week's worth of FR24 data I see only one flight cancelled.

Re: The CityJet Sukhoi SSJ100-95 saga is hurting Brussels Airlines
Per FR24, there are currently five SSJs currently flying for Brussels Airlines: EI-FWA, -FWC, -FWE, -FWF, and -FWG. I thought the contract only called for 4?

CityJet RJ85s flying for SN
I see that several CityJet RJ85s operated SN flights this week. Have the SuperJets being having even more problems than usual?

Re: Korongo Airlines
Wasn't that what I said a long time ago? The BAe146 engines are not suited for hot & high operations as they are too heat-sensitive. Considering that 146s have been (and are) widely used in a variety of African environments including hot-and-high environments such as South Africa, as well as, f...

Re: Korongo Airlines
BAe 146 ex OO-MJE left today for Canada as N192DD, so will obviously not return to DRC.
Does anyone know whether OO-DJJ has been at all active in DRC? The current Korongo schedule shows all flights being operated by their 737.

TNT Airways update?
As part of UPS' takevoer of TNT Express, it was announced that TNT Airways is to be sold off, and then contracted to continue flying for UPS (see: http://www.smiliner.com/news/current.shtml#1203_10). Has anyone heard any news about possible buyers and when the sale might happen?

Re: Korongo Airlines
The pic posted above of OO-MJE with Korongo c/s shows the aircraft's own stairs deployed at 1L. I do not recall Brussels (SN/DAT, etc) 146s and Avro RJs having self-contained stairs installed. Is this a new addition specifically for Korongo operations? It would make sense, given some of the airports...
