TUI Belgium launches Summer 2026 season with new flexibility and early booking surge among Belgian travellers

Share

TUI Belgium has officially launched sales for the Summer 2026 season, unveiling new product innovations and highlighting a strong trend toward earlier holiday bookings among Belgian travellers.

Belgians Booking Earlier Than Ever

Analysis of the current 2025 season shows that over 20% of holidays were booked as early as November–December 2024, and half by the end of February 2025. Families are the primary drivers of this trend, eager to secure family-friendly hotels and take advantage of early booking discounts.

Key Innovations for Summer 2026

  • Flexible Transfers: For the first time, travellers can choose their airport–hotel transfer option – no transfer, private taxi, or classic bus. This flexibility will be gradually rolled out across all destinations.
  • Expanded Flight Capacity: TUI will offer 1.23 million airline seats, up 3.25% from last year, with added capacity from Brussels and Ostend to Antalya, Alicante, Ibiza, Gran Canaria, and Malaga.
  • Sustainable Brochures: The bulky “Flight Holidays” catalogue will be replaced by five regional editions, cutting paper use by 46 tonnes – a 32% reduction compared to 2025.
  • Optimised Flight Schedules: Destinations including Egypt, the Turkish Riviera (Antalya), and the Greek islands of Santorini and Samos will now be served non-stop, reducing travel times.

Travel Agents Remain Key

Despite growing online sales, 70% of early bookings for summer 2025 were made through TUI shops or independent agents, confirming that personal advice remains highly valued.

Early Booking Rewards

Travellers can already book their Summer 2026 holidays via travel agents or online at tui.be and vipselection.be, with discounts up to €450 per person for early reservations.

TUI’s innovations for 2026 aim to combine greater flexibility, sustainability, and comfort, while continuing to serve Belgium’s growing appetite for early, well-planned holidays.
