Travelski will introduce a weekly overnight ski train linking the Netherlands and Belgium with the French Alps during the 2026–2027 winter season.
The Travelski Night Express will leave Amsterdam on Friday evenings, stopping at Rotterdam, Antwerp and Brussels-South before continuing to Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne and Bourg-Saint-Maurice in the Tarentaise Valley. Connecting transfers will serve nearby ski resorts.
The first departure is scheduled for 18 December 2026, with weekly services continuing until 27 March 2027. Return trains will leave the Alps on Saturday evenings, allowing holidaymakers to ski on both their arrival and departure days.
Passengers can choose between seats, shared sleeping accommodation, private compartments and first class. Skis and snowboards may be carried onboard, while a bar carriage will offer refreshments.
One-way fares start at €127. Packages combining the train, resort transfers, accommodation, ski passes and equipment will start at €720 per person. Travelski says the electric service will produce around one-fifth of the emissions of an equivalent 800-kilometre car journey carrying four people.
The train will be operated by Pegasus Trains on behalf of Travelski, part of the Compagnie des Alpes group.
