Sunweb Group has partnered with Ryanair, enabling customers to book package holidays with departures from Brussels South Charleroi Airport and, via cooperation with airBaltic, Liège Airport.
The agreement expands Sunweb’s network alongside existing airline partners such as Brussels Airlines and Transavia. By relying on third-party airlines rather than operating its own fleet, the Dutch tour operator says it maintains greater flexibility, lower fixed costs and the ability to adjust capacity quickly in response to market conditions.
The Ryanair partnership has already been rolled out across Sunweb’s holiday portfolio, including both summer and ski holidays, in the markets where the company operates. According to Sunweb, the collaboration has exceeded initial expectations, although no figures were disclosed.
Founded in 1991, Sunweb Group serves around 1.3 million travellers annually, generates €1.2 billion in revenue, and is the market leader in winter holidays while ranking among the top three providers of summer holidays.
