The SpaceX Crew-12 mission has successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS), marking the start of a new long-duration expedition.
The NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev arrived at the station aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. Docking occurred at 15:15 EST (20:15 UTC) at the space-facing port of the Harmony module.
Following successful capture and docking, crews initiated standard post-docking procedures, including leak checks and pressurisation between the spacecraft and the station. Hatch opening was scheduled for approximately 17:00 EST, after which the four astronauts would officially join the station’s resident crew to begin their long-duration mission in orbit.
