Eurostar will introduce direct services from London St Pancras International to Antwerp-Central from 14 December 2026, eliminating the need for passengers travelling from the UK to change trains in Brussels.
The new service will be operated by selected London–Amsterdam trains, reducing the journey time to 2 hours and 41 minutes. Four daily departures from London are planned, with one-way fares starting at £51 (€58).
Passengers travelling from Antwerp to London, however, will still need to change trains at Brussels-South (Bruxelles-Midi). As Antwerp-Central lacks the UK border control, customs and security facilities required for departures to Britain, travellers must complete these formalities in Brussels before boarding a London-bound Eurostar service. The return journey will therefore continue to take around 3 hours and 30 minutes.
The new timetable enhances rail connectivity between London and Belgium’s second-largest city, offering a faster and more convenient option for both business and leisure travellers, while direct outbound services from Antwerp remain impossible until UK border processing facilities are introduced at the station.
