European Sleeper launches Brussels–Milan night train

Share

European Sleeper has launched a new overnight rail service between Brussels and Milan, operating three times weekly in each direction.

Trains leave Brussels at 19:10 and arrive in Milan at 11:40 the following morning. Northbound services depart Milan at approximately 16:45 and reach Brussels shortly before noon. Initial stops include Verviers, Cologne, Aarau, Lugano and Como.

From mid-December, the route between Brussels and Cologne will change. Trains will operate via Antwerp, Breda and Eindhoven instead of Verviers and Aachen.

The Brussels–Milan service expands European Sleeper’s growing network, which already includes overnight connections linking Brussels with Berlin, Dresden, Prague and Hamburg.

Further expansion is planned, including a Brussels and Amsterdam service to Copenhagen and Malmö in 2028. Barcelona is also being considered as a future destination.
