Chocotravel, a travel agency from Kazaktstan has stirred up emotions on social media by launching an advertising campaign on YouTube and Facebook. In the advert a female model says: “Hello, at Chocotravel you can buy a ticket for my flight.”, “Or for my flight”, another model responds.
Most of the remarks on social media are going from “tasteless” to “sexist”.
Meanwhile the Chocotravel CEO Nikolay Mazentsev offered his apologies on Facebook if people felt insulted by the campaign but responded by saying that the movie is about the people you see near the pool or the beach. Besides, he added: we also made a video with male models.
Hmmmm ….. question marks raised … not my kind of choco …
