Share

On 9 January 2017, Istanbul Airports was hit by severe snow and cold, Turkish Airlines was forced to cancel 227 scheduled domestic and international flights from its hub Atatürk Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport on the Asian side.

Now, a movie appeared on social media showing two employees that are de-icing an aircraft by trying to roll a big bottle of water over the wings. Apparently in order to treat the wings against icing. UgurP uploaded the movie and tweeted: Turkish Airlines’ high tech de-icing method.
