Share

Cam Newton, an American football quarterback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL) recently missed his business class flight and got stuck in economy to get home. The football star offered a fellow passenger – sitting at the emergency exit row – $1,500 to change seats, which the passenger refused to enjoy some more leg space.

In a video on Twitter, uploaded by Eli Edwards, you can see Cam Newton walking back to his original seat to enjoy his 10-hour flight, like the rest of the passengers.

What happened ?

Cam Newton paid for a business class seat from Paris, France to Charlotte, United States, but missed his flight. His only option to fly home that day was through Dallas in regular economy class with no extra legroom. (Twitter: Andy Slater)

Would you take $1,500 ? Some responses on Twitter are just hilarious
