On 2 June, cruise ship MS MSC Opera, operated by MSC Cruises, slammed uncontrollably into the San Basilio pier of Port of Venice. The giant cruise ship also hit the much smaller River Countess, a tourist boat.
On a video that appeared on social media, the cruise ship blasts its horn while spectators are running away from the scene. At least four people were injured, with two being taken to hospital.

Link with aviation???
A lot of tourists come to Venice by air to board cruise ships. And, as mentioned at the bottom of the article, from time to time aviation24.be publishes an article in the broader form of “travel”.
A lot of tourists arrive by air in any city all over the world, are we going to report every minor mishap in any city with an airport? Seriously?
Relax !!! It’s weekend and worth the mention !!
