Private Turkish plane crashes in Southwestern Iran: 11 dead

Iranian state TV reported citing aviation official that the crashed aircraft, a Bombardier Challenger 600 (reg.TC-TRB), was heading from the city of Sharjah in the UAE to Istanbul.

According to the Iranian News Agency Tasnim, a private passenger jet crashed near the city of Shahr-e Kord in the southwestern province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.

None of them survived. The crash was apparently caused by bad weather.

Turkish media earlier reported Basaran’s daughter and seven of her friends were returning to Istanbul from her hen party in Dubai.
