South African Air Force C-130 crashes during landing at Goma Airport, DRC

On 9 January, a South African Air Force C-130 (403) crashed during landing at Goma Airport, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The military aircraft carried 8 crew members, 59 passengers and cargo. After the impact, the aircraft briefly caught fire. All the passengers were able to safely evacuate the aircraft.
