Saudi Royal Air Force Hawk plane crashes during training mission

A Saudi Royal Air Force plane crashed on during a training mission in the northwest region, leaving all of its crew dead, an official source at the Ministry of Defence said.

An investigation was opened into the cause of the crash of the British-manufactured Hawk, the ministry said in a statement issued by Saudi state-news agency SPA.

  1. Sad news. I helped build,install and keep running the Hawk Mk65 simulator in Tabuk. It is still in service for this display team, the rest of the Hawk fleet was replaced by the Mk 165.
