Azimuth shows interest to its SSJ100 fleet Increase

Share

On July 20, 2017 during MAKS-2017 the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Azimuth airline signed the Letter of Intent about four Sukhoi Superjet 100 to be delivered in 2021 – 2022.

The delivery details and the choice of a leasing company for the further deal closure is a matter of further discussion between the companies at the moment.

Currently the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) and Azimuth are implementing the leasing agreement for eight Sukhoi Superjet 100 to be delivered in 2017-2018. The aircraft are delivered in 100 and 103 seats variants. The peculiarity of a 100 seated passenger cabin is the opportunity to change the seat arrangement, which can be both single class for 100 seats or two class for 93 seats depending on the actual need of the operator.

In the beginning of July 2017 the first aircraft of this type arrived to the base airport of Azimuth in Rostov-on-Don. It is expected that commercial flights on SSJ100 are to be carried out on the domestic routes in September after all the formal issues will be settled.
