Saab has received an order worth SEK 10.1 billion (EUR 910 million) for two GlobalEye airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft from an undisclosed customer in the Middle East, with deliveries scheduled for 2030.
The GlobalEye system combines active and passive sensors to provide long-range detection and tracking of aerial, maritime and ground targets, delivering real-time situational awareness and early warning capabilities for military operations.
Saab said the contract reflects growing international demand for the mission-proven platform, which is designed to enhance air defence and multi-domain surveillance. Owing to customer confidentiality and national security considerations, the company did not disclose the identity of the buyer or provide further details about the agreement.
