Embraer reported record first-quarter revenue of US$1.4 billion for 2026, up 31% year-on-year and the highest first-quarter revenue in the company’s history.
The Brazilian aerospace manufacturer said growth was driven primarily by its Defense & Security and Commercial Aviation divisions. Adjusted EBIT rose to US$94 million, with margins improving to 6.5% from 5.6% a year earlier.
Defense & Security revenue surged 63% to US$227 million, helped by stronger deliveries and revenue recognition for the Embraer KC-390 Millennium and increased production of the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano. Commercial Aviation revenue increased 45% to US$293 million, while Executive Jets revenue rose 30% to US$418 million.
The company delivered 44 aircraft during the quarter, up 47% from the same period in 2025. Its order backlog reached a record US$32.1 billion, marking the sixth consecutive all-time high.
Net income attributable to shareholders fell to US$33.4 million from US$73.4 million a year earlier, while total investments, including electric aviation subsidiary Eve, rose to US$148.6 million.
