Embraer posts record $2.2 billion second-quarter revenue and raises 2026 outlook

Share

Embraer reported record second-quarter revenue of $2.2 billion in 2026, up 23% year-on-year, as higher aircraft deliveries and strong performances across its business divisions boosted results.

Adjusted EBIT reached $296.9 million, representing a margin of 13.3%, while adjusted net income increased to $218.6 million, compared with $158 million a year earlier. Adjusted free cash flow excluding Eve reached $401 million, supported by stronger operating performance, customer prepayments and an extraordinary tax credit.

The improved results, combined with the tax credit, tariff exemptions and a stronger business outlook, prompted Embraer to raise its full-year guidance. The Brazilian manufacturer now expects an adjusted EBIT margin of 10% to 10.6%, compared with its previous forecast of 8.7% to 9.3%. Expected adjusted free cash flow excluding Eve has been doubled from at least $200 million to $400 million or more.

Defense & Security recorded the strongest growth, with revenue rising 38% to $304 million, largely driven by the KC-390 Millennium programme. Executive Aviation revenue climbed 32% to $725 million, while Services & Support increased 24% to $565 million. Commercial Aviation generated $625 million, up 8%.

Embraer delivered 65 aircraft during the quarter, its best second-quarter performance in 16 years and 7% more than in 2025. First-half deliveries reached 109 aircraft, up around 20% from 91 a year earlier.

The manufacturer’s order backlog meanwhile climbed to a new record of $34.5 billion, 16% higher than a year ago. It marked the seventh consecutive quarter of backlog growth, providing Embraer with strong visibility for future production and revenues.
