An Embraer E190-E2 test aircraft is currently on a World Tour to show its capabilities to interested customers. The aeroplane with a distinctive shark livery is presently carrying out the European part of the trip, after having visited the United States.
Earlier in September, it has already landed at the airports of, in this order, Lisbon, Warsaw (LOT is a major Embraer client and was the launch customer of the E-Jets in Europe), Stockholm (Wideroe is the launch customer of the E2), Helsinki, Minsk, Moscow, Dushanbe, Tbilisi and Paris LBG, all places with airlines using E-Jets.
Between 21 and 24 September, the aircraft will stop over in Brussels to be presented to TUI fly Belgium, one of the customers for the E190, a model of which it flies four aircraft.
The aircraft, coming from Paris Le Bourget with its original Brasilian registration PR-ZGQ, will arrive at Brussels Airport around 16:00 on Friday, 21 September, and will be parked at Abelag/Luxaviation.
Aviation24.be contacted TUI fly Belgium to know whether the airline would be organising an event around this visit, but the answer was negative, as TUI fly has no intention to buy the model in the immediate future.
The aircraft will leave Brussels Airport Monday 24 September around 13:00 after spending the weekend on the ground.
