Rear section of aft fuselage of the first C919 aircraft was manufactured by Aerospace Haiying (Zhenjiang) Special Materials Co., Ltd. of the Third Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), approved after airworthiness inspection, and officially delivered to Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) on February 11th, 2015, laying a solid foundation for airframe butt joint of the first C919 aircraft. Mr. Hou Huiqing, Deputy Director of Shanghai Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Center of CAAC, Mr. Li Xiaoping, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Zhenjiang Municipal Committee, Mr. Wei Yiyin, Vice President of CASIC, and Mr. Wu Guanghui, Vice President of COMAC and Chief Designer of C919 Program, directed the delivery on site.
After the delivery ceremony, the rear section of aft fuselage of the first C919 aircraft was shipped at 14:30 on February 11th, 2015 and arrived at Pudong base of COMAC Manufacturing and Final Assembly Center at 20:27 on the same day.
