A Cessna Citation VII crashed at Istanbul Ataturk

A Cessna Citation VII private aircraft has crashed at Istanbul Ataturk airport, five passengers and crew have been injured. The aircraft (TC-KON) was built in 1998. Rescue services rushed to the scene. Meanwhile the airport was forced to reduce capacity to a single runway configuration as runway 17R/35L is blocked, aircraft are currently holding.

The aircraft departed Atatürk Airport about 21:05 local time, with destination Ercan, Turkey. Undercarriage issues reportedly forced the crew to turn back to the departure airport. Media reports indicate the aircraft crashed while attempting to land on
