Bombardier said it has taken note of the US president’s social media post and is in contact with the Canadian government, stressing that its aircraft, facilities and technicians are fully certified to FAA standards.

The company highlighted its strong US footprint, employing over 3,000 people across nine major facilities and supporting thousands more jobs through 2,800 US suppliers, while continuing to invest in expansion, including a recent project in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Bombardier warned that thousands of Canadian-built business and civilian jets operate in the United States daily, and urged for a swift resolution to avoid significant disruption to air traffic and passengers.
