Boeing 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter receives FAA & EASA certification


Boeing has announced that its B737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) has received the certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency.

The aircraft manufacturer made the announcement on Twitter:

The 737-800BCF is built on one of the industry’s most efficient and reliable platforms, the Boeing 737. The freighter will be able to carry up to 23 tonnes of revenue payload with efficient operating economics to maximize profit for an airline’s cargo operations.
The 737-800BCF is also 20 percent more fuel efficient per tonne than the 737 Classic
freighters. The 737-800BCF provides operators with improved fuel efficiency and more range
