Textron Aviation has delivered a Beechcraft King Air 360C to Greece’s National Center for Emergency Care (EKAV), boosting the country’s air ambulance capacity as part of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s Global Health Initiative (GHI). The aircraft is equipped with advanced medical systems and a cargo door for rapid patient transport from remote areas to central hospitals in Greece and across Europe.
This delivery marks the third of five aircraft funded by the SNF, joining two previously delivered King Air 350Cs. All are based at Elefsis Airbase. The King Air 360C was modified for medical use by Fargo Jet Center in partnership with Spectrum Aeromed, featuring a custom interior to enhance patient care and crew efficiency.
Textron Aviation emphasised the aircraft’s adaptability, cost-efficiency, and reliability in mission-critical roles, from emergency medical services to intelligence and transport operations.
