Airbus’ commercial aircraft orders and deliveries for the month of October 2022 have been published today as follows:
October 2022 deliveries: 60 deliveries to 38 customers (1 A220-100, 4 A220-300, 21 A320neo, 26 A321neo, 1 A330-300, 2 A330-900neo, 4 A350-900, 1 A350-1000)
October 2022 orders: 177 [15 A220-300 for Air Canada; 91 A320neo (25 for Xiamen Airlines, 35 for Jet2, 31 for IAG); 71 A321neo (15 for Xiamen Airlines, 28 for an undisclosed customer, 28 for IAG)]
2022 deliveries to date: 497 deliveries to 72 customers in the year.
The net year-to-date delivery number of 495 reflects a reduction of 2 deliveries recorded in December 2021 (2 A350-900 AEROFLOT) for which a transfer was not possible due to international sanctions.
By comparison, Boeing delivered 35 planes in October 2022, down from 51 in September, while receiving 122 orders during the month.
