Airbus Helicopters reported a robust performance in 2025, logging 544 gross orders (536 net) from 205 customers across 50 countries and delivering 392 helicopters. Order intake rose by nearly 20% year-on-year, underlining strong demand across the company’s civil, parapublic, and military portfolios. Airbus secured a 51% share of the civil and parapublic market, while its military market share increased to 28%.

Growth was driven largely by major sovereign and defence programmes. Spain placed a landmark order for 100 helicopters, including H145Ms, NH90s, and the first H175M orders. Germany expanded its H145M fleet to 82 aircraft, while the NH90 programme regained momentum through new orders and deliveries in the Netherlands, Greece, and Germany. In the heavy segment, Greece ordered H215s for firefighting, Morocco signed for ten H225Ms, and first deliveries reached Iraq. The H145 remained Airbus’ best-selling platform with 149 orders.

On the civil and parapublic side, demand remained strong for light and medium twins, with notable orders for the H135 and continued market success of the H160, which captured around half of its segment. The H160 also expanded into new mission profiles, including law enforcement, firefighting, and offshore energy operations in the United States. The H175 received 15 orders, reinforcing its position in the super-medium category.

Innovation featured prominently in 2025. Airbus unveiled the new H140 light twin at VERTICON 2025, securing 61 firm orders, while the Racer high-speed demonstrator exceeded expectations with a cruise speed of 440 km/h. The company also strengthened its position in uncrewed systems by integrating Survey Copter and signing its first UAS contracts, alongside advancing its HTeaming crewed-uncrewed integration capabilities.

To support sustained demand, Airbus Helicopters continued expanding its industrial footprint, including progress on a new H125 final assembly line in India, further reinforcing global supply chain resilience and long-term growth.
