Cebu Pacific Air President and CEO Lance Gokongwei and Airbus Executive Vice President of Sales Asia, Jean Francois Laval, commemorate 10 years of partnership. CEB took delivery of its first Airbus aircraft in 2005, as part of a massive refleeting program. It now operates 41 A320 Family aircraft as well as six A330s and eight ATR aircraft, comprising one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. The airline launched direct flights between Manila and Doha last June 4, 2015, utilizing a 436-seat Airbus A330 aircraft, its latest aircraft delivered from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France. CEB will take delivery of 37 more brand-new Airbus A320 and A321neo aircraft from now until 2021.
As part of Cebu Pacific’s Dreams on Flight project, Department of Science and Technology scholars from UP-Diliman, Rizal Technological University and Ateneo de Manila University got an exclusive tour of the Airbus A350XWB aircraft, during its world tour stop in Manila.
