Airbus shareholders approved all resolutions at the 2026 Annual General Meeting, including board renewals and a €3.20 per share dividend for 2025.
A key development is the upcoming leadership transition: Chair René Obermann will step down on 1 October 2026 and not seek re-election in 2027. Lead Independent Director Amparo Moraleda will succeed him.
The AGM also confirmed new and renewed board appointments, ensuring continuity in governance. Airbus highlighted its strong position following a “landmark” 2025, with confidence in its future performance across commercial aviation, helicopters, and defence.
The planned succession is designed to ensure stability and a smooth transition at the board level as the company navigates ongoing industry and geopolitical challenges.
