ExecuJet MRO Services has completed an extensive maintenance and refurbishment project on a Dassault Falcon 7X at its facility in Kortrijk, Belgium, combining major technical upgrades with a full cabin and exterior refresh.
The project included the installation of a Starlink satellite connectivity system, an avionics upgrade from EASy II to EASy IV, an engine replacement, landing gear component work, fuel tank cleaning, exterior repainting and a cabin refurbishment.
According to ExecuJet, the customer selected its Belgian facility because of its experience with Starlink installations, having previously become the first maintenance provider worldwide to install the system on a Dassault Falcon 8X. The company also highlighted its ability to perform multiple upgrades simultaneously, reducing overall aircraft downtime.
One of the most technically demanding elements of the project was the upgrade from the EASy II to the EASy IV avionics suite. The work required significant new wiring and system integration due to the greater complexity of the latest-generation cockpit technology. EASy IV provides enhanced capabilities, including a more advanced Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) and improved situational awareness through greater use of satellite navigation.
The aircraft also received a full exterior repaint and a protective Permagard coating to enhance durability and preserve the finish.
Inside the cabin, the refurbishment included new carpeting and reupholstered seats, side ledges and ceiling panels, along with selected cockpit interior upgrades, giving the aircraft a refreshed appearance while modernising its onboard environment.
