Acumen Aviation has released its 2025 Operational Review, highlighting a year shaped by intense aircraft scarcity, elevated lease rates, and growing technical complexity across global aviation markets. Persistent OEM delivery delays, supply chain disruption, and engine maintenance challenges created one of the most supply-constrained environments in recent years, rewarding lessors and managers with strong technical expertise and operational resilience.
Acumen’s Leasing and Advisory activities benefited from robust secondary-market demand, managing 10 Irish SPVs with 24 leased assets and supporting aircraft, engine, freighter, and part-out transactions worldwide. Its Technical Asset Management team oversaw around 350 assets, with increased redelivery activity—particularly in Asia—focused on minimising downtime and protecting lease revenue.
In a highly volatile valuation environment, Acumen completed more than 1,500 appraisals in 2025, including over 30 for ABS transactions, supported by its proprietary fin-S valuation platform. CAMO operations remained resilient amid regulatory and maintenance pressures, retaining key international approvals and adding ISO 27001 certification.
The review underscores digital transformation as an operational necessity rather than a competitive differentiator. Acumen expanded its data management and digital asset oversight capabilities, managing nearly 2,260 assets across its systems, reinforcing compliance, predictive analytics, and asset marketability in an increasingly constrained and competitive aviation market.
