Norwegian and Danish unions are in initial discussions on a new agreement if the carrier re-establishes a base in Denmark.

Norwegian was refused a state credit guarantee by Sweden’s Debt Office, renewing liquidity concerns for the struggling airline amid the crisis.

Norwegian will temporarily suspend its service between Oslo and Belgrade during November 2020.

Norwegian will continue to fly Swedish government employees on domestic trips until 30 April 2021, after the agreement was extended.

Lessor AerCap says it has already leased out two B787s it has with Norwegian and the remaining B787s are being marketed at the moment.

Another two of Norwegians subsidiaries are heading for bankruptcy. I wonder which entity is next.

BTW Bad news for Airbus. I recall the NEO order was primarily for its leasing out, but with Artic in not so good financial state one wonders if this will go ahead.

Boeing is bidding to stall and dismiss part or all of a US$1 billion lawsuit from Norwegian, which was filed in summer 2020 over a B737 MAX contract. The issue is due for hearing on 15 December 2020.

Norwegian and its Irish subsidiaries were granted creditor protection by Irish courts, allowing the airline more time to restructure its massive debt.

Norwegian board members want to permanently close long-haul operations and instead focus only on Norway, Scandinavia and select routes within Europe.

Norwegian creditors are not happy with the progress of its restructuring plan. They are waiting to receive an answer on how many aircraft Norwegian will fly with in 2021 and 2022.
