Aegean Airlines

Post by theeuropean » 10 Dec 2019, 10:53

A new A320 NEO has been spotted in Toulouse doing test flights. A revised livery is expected. Improvements to IFE is also rumored.

Normally on the 12th of December at SKG (Thessaloniki) there will be an unveiling of the new livery as well as S2020 destinations.

A3 has a total of 20 A320 neos and 10 A321neos that will replace and expand the current fleet, there is also an option of 12 more.

Pakistan and India are rumored to be new countries/destination(s) for the airline, but when that will happen is not certain yet.

If I hear more I will keep you all posted.

Best,
Max

In yesterday's press conference in SKG.

6 new aircraft by July, part of the 30 + 12 options they ordered from airbus. These will be the A320 neos. They will lease 16 aircraft from lessors.

3 new routes from Athens: Bilbao, Birmingham, Nuremberg and Pafos (started yesterday). From Thessaloniki: Brussels, Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Zurich and Berlin.

Flights to BRU: SKG-BRU: 2 0600-0800, 4 1715-1915 - no news yet if it will be just seasonal or prolonged to year round operations.
New base in Corfu with 1 aircraft.

New lounge in SKG plus one more added aircraft to the base and an increase in 47 routes.

No news yet on new livery, rumor that will be on the 19th in Athens.
