Jet Airways is done. Finished. Hence: they will never take off again. No matter how many times they say "our revival is soon to come".

Jet Airways revival efforts have apparently suffered another setback with Etihad posing a new list of demands to be met by the authorities before it agrees to rescue the beleaguered airline.

Jet Airways has had 99 of its aircraft de-registered so far by regulators, including 73 B737s, four B777s, 16 ATRs, and six A330s.

Jet Airways could lose its B777 fleet as its lender Ex-Im Bank has written to the DGCA to de-register the aircraft.

Jet Airways engineering department stripped of critical authorizations rendering the grounded airline defunct and unable to carry out any maintenance work on aircraft.

Also note, but a few ex Jet Airways aircraft have Vistara livery, but not hybrid as some before.

It could have started much earlier if India was not the most bureaucratic country in the world.

The Indian government has obtained a travel ban for Naresh Goyal. He's only allowed to travel abroad when he first provides a bond of... 2.340.000.000 € (Rs 18,000 crore).

Etihad is reported to have sent a communication to the lenders that it would want to be part of the revival of Jet Airways. The UAE-based carrier may partner with Hinduja Group (India).

Are there any planes left to restart the airline?

Jet Airways resumes maintenance of its remaining 11 aircraft, rekindling hopes of the revival of the full-service airline.

What a slow agony!

Meanwhile, Jet Airways creditors to meet on 01 August 2019 to discuss on various issues related to insolvency proceedings of the grounded airline.

Jet Airways lenders haven’t found any fresh interest for the carrier, as the latest deadline for new EOIs passed.
