And the strike at the domestic flights department continues: now also on Tuesday 19 Nov 2019 and Wednesday 20 Nov 2019. That's 6 ongoing days of strike at South Africa's most subsidized state enterprise...

South African Airways needs a government guarantee to help it secure bank funding otherwise the carrier is at risk of entering liquidation, board member Martin Kingston said, as a crippling strike enters its sixth day.

South African Airways resumed some regional flights but warned that only a deal with striking unions can resolve its current crisis, as the government said it has no more money for the carrier.

Due to the planned support strike on Monday 25 November related to a labour dispute at Finnish postal service, Finnair must cancel some flights from Nov 24-25. The airline apologises for the inconvenience this causes to its customers.

Lufthansa is offering the UFO trade union the opportunity to begin the comprehensive arbitration process at its subsidiaries, even without a binding peace obligation. But the flight-attendant union UFO is threatening a new industrial action after talks in preparation for an arbitration process broke down for the second time this month.

And a real strike on Monday 2 December at Lufthansa daughter, catering unit LSG (which is being sold to GateGourmet). Be prepared to be hungry if you fly Lufthansa Group tomorrow!

Update from Eurocontrol: An update on the French strike is on the NOP, with the latest NOTAMs. Note tomorrow's reduction of 20% in flights to several airports (including Paris Cdg & Orly) - check with your airline. https://public.nm.eurocontrol.int/PUBPO ... index.html

Following Air Controllers strike and at the request of DGAC ATC, Air France adapts its domestic and medium-haul flight schedule for the day of December 10. Long-haul flights are not affected.
