"Wizz Air will exit the Slovenian market on a temporary basis this winter following seven years of continuous operations by suspending its flights from Charleroi and Luton. The carrier has confirmed it will resume services between the Belgian city and Ljubljana starting April 2, 2020, with tickets recently going on sale."

Exactly. LTN to be discontinued and CRL to continue as from end March 2020, says the booking engine.

In addition to Ljubljana (discussed above), Wizz Air UK is discontinuing four other routes from London Luton in October 2019: to Bari, Catania, Tallinn, and Turku.

Wizz Air is ready to acquire A320XLRs for expansion of their services. They held a meeting with the Airports Authority of India and expressed interest in connecting Indian cities by 2021.

Wizz Air is adding a new aircraft to its Iasi base in Romania from August 2020 and starts of 6 new services, as well as increases frequency on Rome Ciampino, Bologna, Brussels Charleroi and Tel Aviv routes.

Wizz Air will add a new station in Zaporizhzhya (Ukraine) and launch six new routes in March 2020 with A321 and A320. Routes include those to Vienna, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Krakow, and Vilnius.

Wizz Air is in a position to "strategically win" in the Viennese market battlefield, says CEO Varadi as it prepares to deploy three more aircraft there in the coming years.

Tough times for Austrian Airlines!

Lauda has also been given the go ahead to grow also to gain market share. Really bad news for OS with W6 and OE going to battle it out.

Wizz Air is set to take delivery of only nine A321neos in fiscal 2020-21, down from 19 due to delays. Four will be carried over from 2019-20.

Wizz Air plans to continue expanding in Central and Eastern Europe as Western Europe is becoming more constrained.

North Macedonia’s government plans to invest €1.6 million into the country’s aviation sector in 2020, with the majority going to Wizz Air to subsidise its flights.

Subsidies are not an investment (if I may be excused for "nitpicking" as some call it). They come on the operations side of the balance sheet; investments come on the active/passive pages.

"... plans to spend" might be better wording.

Wizz Air would like to expand further east, such as to Russia, pending additional traffic rights. The carrier is eyeing St. Petersburg to utilise fifth freedom rights.

Wizzair starting base in Abu Dhabi as from second half 2020 . Planning to have 50 acft by 2030 .
