Is any aircraft AOG? That flight was delayed >5 hours and generally TB had lots of delays yesterday
737MAX rings a bell?
Well I thought that they somehow resolved this by getting all the white planes from Smartlynx etc.

Don't think so. I just received a notification that my flight to Palermo at the end of June is being rescheduled. I leave at 6am now instead of around noon, and instead of a direct flight, we will make a stopover in Naples.

737MAX troubles was the first that came to my mind as the reason for this...

It seems so. I guess spotting-wise this is going to be an interesting summer but passenger-wise not so much.

The availability of 320/737 should be so scarce that airlines were not able to recover from the MAX disaster. If I find time I will try to do a mapping of how airlines handled that (wetleasing etc.)

There is one all white A320, with red TUI titles and the red TUI smile on its tail AOG in front of the satellite building.

TUIfly Belgium in winter 2019/20 season is adjusting operational routing for Tenerife South and Funchal. In winter 2018/19 season, the airline operated on Brussels – Funchal – Tenerife South – Brussels on Saturdays, however, this will be switched to Brussels – Tenerife South – Funchal – Brussels, starting 09NOV19.

GDS schedule listing currently displaying Embraer E190 aircraft to operate this route, instead of Boeing 737 MAX 8 listed in the OAG.

Code: Select all

TB1765 BRU0730 – 1120TFS1135 – 1315FNC E90 6
TB1766 TFS1135 – 1315FNC1340 – 1900BRU E90 6
TUIfly Belgium in winter 2019/20 season is introducing new Paris Orly – Fuerteventura – Tenerife South – Paris Orly triangle routing, set to commence on 10NOV19. Boeing 737-800 aircraft is scheduled to operate on Sundays, replacing previously operated Paris Orly – Tenerife South vv (until October 2018).

I didn't know the E190 had the legs to do BRU-TFS non-stop?
Also, just 15 minutes turnaround time in TFS seems very short, no?

My guess, a very uneducated one, is that those are "placeholders" to be filled in with 737NG or 737MAX when they have a schedule for the return to service of the MAX.
I don't see them operating the E-Jet to TFS, certainly not profitably.
